The installation of a re-bounce®shock pad is easy, fast and cheap and can be done in all weather conditions. Take a look at our installation procedure and see how the comfort of an artificial turf pitch can be increased very rapidly.
- Preparation:
- The pitch area is excavated.
- The foundation base is created out of material such as rubble and/or gravel to ensure a good drainage. If necessary, drainage hoses are installed as well.
- The foundation base is made free of dirt and rubble and must be perfectly flat. Ideally, the shock pad is installed when temperatures are between 5°C and 35°C.
- The rolls are placed along the side of the pitch. Put the first roll in the correct position so it can be unrolled along the outside edge of the pitch.
- The beginning of the roll should overlap the pitch edge with at least 35 cm. It is recommended to cut off the overlap just before putting in the infill. Lay the second roll adjacent to the first and roll out. Do exactly the same with the other rolls.
- The positioning of the rolls can be done either when rolling out or afterwards. A 10 mm gap must be allowed between rolls to prevent overlapping of the adjacent material when the grass carpet is fitted. No tape is required to hold the rolls together, as long as the 10 mm gap is used.
- The grass carpet can be positioned ready to roll out. After the shock pad has been laid, wait at least a couple of hours to roll out the grass carpet. This will allow the shock pad to relax.
- Next steps :
- The grass carpet seams are glued.
- The grass carpet is filled in with sand and/or rubber like material.
- Your artificial grass pitch is ready to be used. .
